At Tripick, our vision is to enrich millions of lives by helping students, employees, and carpoolers make car rides a more meaningful part of their day. As a part of facilitating a great commuter experience, we need to collect and share your information. In this privacy policy, we tell you what information we collect, use, and share, and how we use it to create and connect our community.

These services include allowing you to set up a user account and profile, to contact you and allow other users to contact you, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to provide, personalize, analyze, and improve our services. Whenever you interact with our services, we automatically receive and record information from your browser or device.

We also collect your geolocation to facilitate the carpool, as well as to confirm that carpools are taking place to support a safe community in line with our community guidelines.We also collect aggregated information regarding your activity on our platform (such as the number of rides offered and your message response rate). Such information may be published on your public profile on our platform.

We may obtain information about you from other third party sources in order to update or supplement the information that you provide or that we collect automatically. This includes information from your employer (directly or indirectly through its service providers), our service providers, and public databases or data aggregators that may include your demographic information. We may use this information to help us maintain the accuracy of the information we collect, improve and personalize your experience with the services, support your employer’s understanding of the value of Tripick, and other internal business analysis or business purposes.

A. Third-party services: If you choose to register for Tripick or otherwise link your Tripick account with a third party’s service (such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google ), we may receive the same type of information we collect from you (described above) directly from those services.

B. Background information on users: Tripick work with third-party partners to perform driving record and criminal background checks on users, and we receive information from them such as publicly available information about a driver’s driving record or criminal history.

We use the information we collect from users for a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to, the following:

Providing our services (such as to connect riders with drivers and allow riders and drivers to communicate with one another);

A. Providing you with user support;

B. Analyze how the Tripick community uses these services for our research and the development and building of the Tripick community;

C. Communicate with you via email, push notifications, direct mail, or SMS/text, either directly or through one of our partners, including for informational, marketing, and promotional purposes;

D. Personalize the Tripick experience for you, your friends, and your contacts;

E. Facilitate services and programs with Affiliated Partners (defined below);

Calculate prices, facilitate payments, and maintain the security and safety of the Tripick community and services (such as through authenticating users, verifying that drivers meet eligibility requirements, encouraging safe driving behavior, finding and preventing fraud, and blocking and removing unsafe or fraudulent users from the services).

Classy Drives does not sell your personal information. To provide the services, we share your personal information with other users, third parties, and service providers. This section explains when and why we share your information.

Sharing Between Users

A. At Classy Drives, we want to provide you with a great commuting experience and introduce you to our community. To facilitate this experience, certain information is available to classy drives and other users on your profile, such as your first and last name, profile photo, and statistics about your usage. Additionally, after being matched with other classy drives users, we share more of your information with them, such as your location, pick-up and drop off addresses, your contact information and other preferences such as whether you allow pets or whether you smoke in your profile to facilitate a meaningful and easy commute between riders and drivers.

Sharing Between Classy Drives and Third-Parties

A. Service providers: We employ and partner with other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them in order to provide services to you. For example, we use a payment processing company to receive and process your credit card transactions for us, and a third-party company to verify motor vehicle history requirements. Unless we tell you differently (or unless stated otherwise in a third-party privacy policy), our agents do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we share with them beyond what is necessary and agreed upon to assist us.

B. Third-party services: The services may allow you to connect with other websites, products, or services to enhance your experience, such as allowing you to connect to alternative transportation solutions for our guaranteed ride home program. If you use these services, we will provide the third party with information about you in order to allow them to provide the service to you. We can’t speak to the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies before deciding whether to use their services.

C. When negotiating or undergoing a change of corporate control, such as a restructuring, merger, sale of our assets; if Classy Drives (or its assets) are acquired; or if Classy Drives goes out of business, enters bankruptcy, or undergoes some other change of control, your information may be one of the assets transferred or acquired by a third party.

D. If a government authority requests information and we think disclosure is required or is appropriate to comply with laws, regulations, or a legal process.

E. With law enforcement officials, government authorities, or third parties if we think doing so is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Classy Drives community, Classy Drives, or the public.

F. If you signed up for a promotion with another user’s referral or promotion code, we may share user information with your referrer to let them know about your redemption of or qualification for the promotion.

G. To provide information about the use of Classy Drives to potential business partners in an aggregated or de-identified form that can’t reasonably be used to identify you, and whenever you consent to the sharing.

A. A cookie is a piece of data stored locally on your computer, and which contains information about your activities on the internet. The information in a cookie does not contain any personally identifiable information which you submit to our site.

B. On the site, we use cookies to track users’ progress through the site, allowing us to make improvements based on usage data. Registration information: When you sign up for a Tripick account, you give us your personal information (first name, last name, phone number, and an email address or data that can uniquely identify with you).
